I have been trying to sell my house for over six months and had a completely horrible experience with my first realtor. I decided to sell on my own, but after two months, realized that I was in way over my head. I was living out of state and running out of options, so I began to look for a realtor.
I found several realtors online that I was interested in, including Jennifer Wright. I asked all of them for more information and immediately began receiving responses. Ms. Wright was the only realtor that didn’t push me to make a decision or bombard me with emails and phone calls while I deliberated. When I called to ask her questions, she was sincere and honest, even about uncomfortable topics like the market and losing money.
After I hired Ms. Wright, she got to work instantly. Within 24 hours she had gone to the house and vacuumed, cleaned and decorated our empty property. During the same 24 hours she took pictures, posted them online with an MLS listing, and I got my first showing. With my previous realtor, I had anywhere from 2-4 showings per month. While with Ms. Wright, we had showings constantly, often every day during a given week.
Without me ever asking, Ms. Wright did things like weed out and spruce up the garden, redecorate inside with different curtains, towels, rugs, check leaks, check and forward mail that hadn’t made it to my new home, check into and set up things like lawn care, pest removal, utility issues, and even things like finding inexpensive and reliable repair services. All of these extra services were done with a positive and upbeat attitude.
After about two months, I received three bids within a week on my home. Once in contract, Ms. Wright worked just as hard on the closing as she did to sell my house. From the beginning, I had informed her that I was on a very tight budget, and throughout the selling process she was always considerate of this fact and went to every effort to make sure I stayed within that margin. Even after the buyers sent a long list of repairs they wanted done, Ms. Wright found me an affordable contractor who fixed many of the items on my list – all within 48 hours and for a very small cost.
The icing on the cake happened three days before closing. Ms. Wright called to inform me that one of the repairs listed in my contract had not been done properly. By the next day, Ms. Wright had already handled the issue, quickly and with no impact on the upcoming closing. I couldn’t believe that it was all taken care of without any work or stress on my part, and when I asked about it, she simply responded, “I am committed to selling this house.”
I have never had such a pleasant experience, nor met any realtor quite as courteous, sincere, generous or professional as Jennifer Wright. It is truly my pleasure to write this recommendation, and the very least I can do after the amazing job she did and the wonderful service I received.

| We recently moved to Columbus, OH from New Jersey and utilized the services of Jennifer Wright to find our home. Jennifer agreed to show me around town as I was going through the interview process. I thought it was very kind of her to spend an entire Saturday with me knowing there was no guarantee that my wife, Tracey, and I would even end up as clients since I had not secured the job at that time. We did a lot of research before we came to Columbus and supplied Jennifer with suburbs that looked to suit our lifestyle. We looked at 21 houses on that first Saturday many of which I ruled out immediately, but I had asked Jennifer to show them. She did a great job of suggesting comparable areas to fit our needs and provided a fantastic spreadsheet routing us through the day and showing all the pertinent house specs and cost per square foot so we'd know how much house we were getting for our money, plus which school our kids would attend, closest shopping etc. I secured the job and set up a date for a house hunting trip for my family. Jennifer picked us up in her mini-van loaded with juice and snacks for the kids. We looked through 20 or so new listings that day with kids in tow and found THE house by 5:00 on that Saturday. Again, all through the day, Jennifer did a great job of constantly comparing the square footage, floor plans, condition of the house, school systems etc. We drove around the neighborhood early on Sunday morning and decided that we did not love the surrounding neighborhoods as we did not feel we were in the RIGHT school system for our kids, which was the #1 priority in our house selection. We then did some internet research and spoke with Jennifer about a new area we wanted to see in North Westerville, Delaware County. She promptly got on the phone, set up two showings and met us at the houses. We met Jennifer in the neighborhood and it was fantastic. Brand new elementary school within walking distance of all the houses in the neighborhood, park with a lake right across the street from the house we were about to view...the whole package! We walked in the house and it was nice, but did not have the right spaces as was noted on the listing sheet. Jennifer went to work and found four more houses in the neighborhood just a little above of our price range. I met her the next evening and picked the house we now live in. It is a very pretty house with a lot of livable space. Fantastic location right behind the school so our kids get to walk, which is what Tracey really learned to like living in NJ. Jennifer made the offer and worked though the negotiations and had a fantastic connection for the inspection...one less thing I had to worry about. She also suggested a great mortgage company, Priority, who was very helpful through the financing process. We moved in the house on June 25th and the next day, we received a cookie gift sent by Jennifer which was a nice touch. Since our move, she has done a great job of keeping in touch just to make sure everything is going well. We would definitely recommend Jennifer to any family looking for a home in the Columbus, OH area. |

We recently decided to sell our home and upgrade to a larger one. Despite the recent condition of the market we pushed forward and entrusted Jennifer Wright to aid us in our task. Through the process, we experienced an unusual amount of setbacks that were totally out of our control. If it wasn’t for Jennifer’s kind words of encouragement and unbreakable spirit, we would have lost our home and our sanity. Not only did she treat us like her clients, she treated us as friends.
